River Plantation RV Resort has 297 Campsites for you to choose from while Camping in the Smokies. We have 30/50amp Full Hookup sites that include, water, electric, sewer, and Cable TV. Our sites mostly measure 40 ft in Width and 60 ft in Length. We have Premier River sites that are backed up to the Beautiful Little Pigeon River! They are a Full Concrete 20 X 70 pad. Once you stay on one of these sites then you will be Spoiled. We Are a Big Rig Friendly Park with 50 amp Pull Through Sites that are 40 in Width and 75 Ft Long. Call one of Team Members and let us book the Perfect Camp site for you and your family! Each site has its own personal Fire Ring, Concrete Patio, and Picnic Table. Need and RV Wash while you are here? Now worries, we have an Onsite RV Wash available. They will do all the hard work and It is only $2.00 Per Foot. You wouldn’t want to miss out on this!
Our Resort has 9 Camping Cabins located in the Foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. We have 3 types of Cabins available for you next trip Camping in the Smokies. Our First Cabin is what we call our Small Camping Cabin. It is a one room Cabins with a Full Size Bed and A set of Bunk Beds that accommodates up to 4 people. Our Small Camping Cabin includes Heat/AC, a small refrigerator, microwave, and A Flat Screen TV with Cable TV. They do not include a bathroom, but are located right next door to our Modern bathhouse. Our Large Cabin is a step up from our Small Camping Cabin. It will accommodate 6 people. The large Cabin has kitchen and living Room area! The Kitchen area has a Refrigerator, Microwave, Stove, and a Coffee Pot. They include a Private Bedroom with a Queen Size Mattress and they have a loft that has two Twin Beds. One TV is located in the Living Area with Cable TV Access. Then Last, but definitely not least is our Luxury Cabin. We just added our Luxury Cabin in the Fall of 2016. This Cabin is a more modern decorated cabin. Our Luxury Camping Cabin will accommodate 6 people. The Private Bedroom includes a Queen Size Bed and the Loft has two Full Beds. It has a Full Kitchen, but also includes pots, pans, and eating utensils. There are 3 TVs with Cable TV in this Cabin. None of our cabins include Linens. They all have great Front Porches with Rocking Chairs to enjoy your evenings! All of Our Cabins are in close proximity to all of amenities. Our Cabins are not Pet Friendly, but our the Rest of our Resort accepts pets.
We have Resort Grade Amenities that will make you not want to leave our Resort while Camping in the Smokies! We have Two Pools, A Lazy River, A Splash Pad, and a Hot Tub just in our Spacious Pool Area That are open Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend. We have Great Places for Shade while watching the Kids Play in the Sun! Our Family Arcade includes a Pool Table, Air Hockey, and Several Other Gamfes you will enjoy. It’s a Great Place to spend when we have Rainy Afternoons. We are adding a Full Size basketball Court and Pickle Court this summer along with Frisbee Golf and GaGa Ball. We have three Modern bath houses available on property and two laundry facilities that are open 24 hours a day. We also have an aerial adventure park on the Premises that offer a Discount to our Guest! Our Resort is a Great Place for the Kids and Family to bring their Bicycles! The Perimeter of the Park is paved and perfect for the Evening Bike Rides. We also allow Golf Carts. You can Bring your own whether it is Gas/Electric. We have have a New Golf Cart Ramp that makes it easy to load and unload your Golf Cart. Don’t have one? No worries, we rent them in our Registration Office. Although our Cabins are not Pet Friendly the Rest of our Resort accepts them with open arms. We are also adding a New Bark Park this Summer!
Pigeon Forge has so many attractions that you will have so much stuff planned you will not have time to rest! The City is the Home to Dolly Parton’s Dollywood, Dolly’s Splash Country, Dixie Stampede and many other Attractions. Inquire about Dollywood and Dolly’s Splash Country Tickets at our Registration Office. Dollywood is the home to many exciting roller coasters and great shows that will make for a fun filled day in Pigeon Forge! Country Tonite is also located in Pigeon Forge and Ranked the #1 Show in Pigeon Forge. The Variety Show is amazing and Offers our Registered Guest a Buy One, Get Free Ticket to their Show. There are many great scenic places to Visit in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park! Cades Cove is an 11 mile Loop that takes you through the mountains with Historic Buildings and beautiful Wildlife. Cades Cove Loop is Closed in Wednesday and Saturday Mornings until 10 am to just guests on bicycles. They do rent bicycles for guests that need one! We recommend seeing the Beauty of Cades Cove at least once while Camping in the Smokies. Allow two to four hours when visiting Cades Cove. Pack a picnic and enjoy the many trails that the wonderful mountains have to offer. Visit Sugarland Visitors Center near the entrance of the National Park for Info on all the Great Places to visit while Camping in the Smokies. There are many trails that lead to wonderful Waterfalls including Abrams Falls, Grotto Falls, Laurel Falls, and Rainbow Falls. There are at least 2 weeks out of the year that you can see Synchronous Fireflies in Elkmont. They are one of 19 species of Fireflies that live in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
